i want to knwo too. Look at the volume the stock had friday its pretty high. I called the co to get more info on them but the ladie that picked up the phone had no idea and said that some one would have to call me back. I mean just from reading there site im still not to sure how they are making there stuff are they just big plazma ts's? I noticed that the lifespan of them is only 5 years according to there site. They should team up with fujitsu or NEC if thats what there doing. Anyone know anymore info on this co?
[quote:372a24ac2a="Yoshimi"]i looked on their website as well...and dont see what makes them different than the other plasma screen companies...yes i agree they should team up with one of those companies...but what is different about ADOT than the other plasma companies?[/quote:372a24ac2a] thats what i would like to know besides the fact they make them real big. But who knows pricing and if there only lasting 5 years they are about 5 years behind in technology because now the leading brands can last about 15-20 years till half brightness.

ya and besides...who would buy a plasma billboard or something like that...i just dont see that happening, ezpecially with only like 5 years of life...i say its a bad buy...dont get urself into ADOT.OB...itll go no where but down...
I have been following ADOT for a few years and still continue to feel that they have potential to be a successful company. Not only do they offer a package OUTDOOR billboard setup, along with software to make it accessible and immediately updateable; but they also have a few strategic positions in other companies. One of them in is Biomoda, a cutting edge cancer-detecting and treatment company who has been attempting to go public for the last few years. With anyluck that will happen as it is posted on ADOT's website in the next year. That will dramatically increase ADOT revenue. Another upside is the technology that they are developing called COLOR-CHEK. It, along with the device it accompanies, converts light to sound for the vision-impaired. I have tried to get a feel for what kind of impact this will have in the blind community and so far haven't found much but it certainly seems to have potential. Another quick word about the billboards. I spoke with ADOT's ever-elusive investor relations guy and he pointed out that traditional billboards can't host more that 3 sponsers while an electronic display functions more like a TV commercial with varying rates during peak times and should actually be rather profitable. Thats my two-cents...sorry for the longwindedness.
Who do they sell the billboards to? What's their market?
An immediate large market obviously isn't available or the stock would be trading higher than .0027. A few possible screen buyers who could immediatly put ADOT's screens to use are large casinos. It has been discussed that a few Las Vegas casinos have been interested in the past. The ideal market would be to replace standard billboard advertising.
the ideal market for this would be time square...haha, this stock would BOOM
