Micro Cap refers to the over market cap of the company. Micro, obviously, means small. Micro cap is under $250 Million. Penny Stock initially referred to any stock under $10. Now most people think of penny stocks as stocks that are sold Over the Counter. They will end in .OB like the stock your showed me earlier. Micro Caps will sell for any price per share.

Sure. Micro Caps can be very good investments. Generally the company is small so the potential for growth is greath. The big concern with a Micro Cap is "can they weather the competition". They are usually newer, fast growing companies so they don't have lengthy operating histories.
