I highly doubt that you could find a high enough dividend yield to make that a viable option.

so how much is a years dividende for mcdonald's or pizza hut? (for $10000)

Annual Dividend payouts vary based on a companies profitability. If a company has a bad year, dividends will be lower. If they have a good one, dividends are higher.

yes I know that, but are the amounts right in this case , these companies have stady profitability ,I think. so last years average could be a good parameter.

i personally wouldn't rely on dividends for the company is not responsible of giving dividends if they do good if they don't u are stuck... i would consider investing in company that has had steady growth.. has given dividends regularly(not necessarly will) but will edge ur chances of higher return... now the challenge comes are to find the companies....there are very few of them.at least by my knowledge..i could be wrong... chahine

does somebody have a real, exsact amount of dividends for mc donalds , coca cola... and companies similar to them for last year

here are the info on mc donald http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ks?s=MCD coca cola http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ks?s=KO they are located near the bottom right of the screen chahine

I ran through some numbers: $10,000 into McDonalds will get you 346 shares. $.40 annual dividend means $138.40 $10,000 into Microsoft will get you 358 shares. $.32 annual dividend means $114.56 $10,000 into Coca-Cola will get you 189 shares. $1.00 annual dividend means $189 Nope I don't think it'll work out.

you are sayng that I would have more profite from renting my apartmant to people then investing in to working companys, I do not think that we understand each other , maybe you define dividends diffrent.

short term u are right... renting an apartment u will make money but on a long term stocks will make more (assuming the companies will generate the same return which is not guaranteed) and also im saying that u will be reinvesting the dividend in acquisition of more shares ... that would over couple of years generate u more return but that would entail more risk also... in my opinion ur best challenge is to rent out a place and the profit that u generrate out of that invest in stocks and stocks that u think holding for long time and even passing on to ur kids some day... IMO that would generate u more short term return and will secure a long term future... chahine

companys make profit, when you bye shares you get part of that profit, you get more money by investing in company then in apartman , so from your part of profit you can cover more maybe few times more then just from renting an apartman, security of the investmant increases if you invest into more companies insead of one. I am not shure but I think that those numbers above are not correct.

Investing in apartments are also going to have associated costs with it. Like repairs, upkeep, taxes and stuff like that. That is also is assuming that you will have the rental units at full capacity and all of your renters pay their rent on time. I do not own rental property because of these reasons. Plus, a lot of places "Give Away" rent for 1-3 months just to get a leaser. The best rule of thumb is to have a basic understanding of the company you are planning on investing in. :)

That was not tha point of my story, but I do not won to repeat mysealf

Sorry for wasting my breath then, Guest.

[img:64f49305ed]http://velegrad.250free.com/moneys.gif[/img:64f49305ed] It is always better to invest in shares then in gold or oil , even apartman because they produce something.....

Man, you do not want to be owning apartment buildings in a low interest rate environment.
