Hey Chahine! I was wondering what had happened to you! Glad to hear all is well and school is keeping you occupied. Keep up those good grades! Buffett has a good theory, I think buying and holding saves a lot on end of year taxes. If you hold a stock for less than a year, you have to pay massive taxes and capital gains. It is beginning to get cold here and days are getting shorter. But a Jamaican Christmas is in the wings, so that will break it up. Nice job, BTW.

thank you all... even though ill be just passing by most of the time ill try to post... by the way what are u all investing into... im looking to invest around 500$ into a safe stock for about 6months to 1 year without looking into it at all... any suggestion of companies i should look into.... been a bit out of touch of the market ups and downs.. :wink: chahine

Have you looked at the SIRI thread and seen what they have done the last few weeks?

nothing important except the fact that when stern came in in sprung a euphoria of purchase... according to my calculation the company has become better at EVA (economic value added) its a way to measure how a dollar invested is turne over ... chahine
