[quote:af3399620a="misterjover"]Risk Free profit in the stock market is virtually impossible unless you have the ability to foresee the future. Arbitrage trading must occur instantaneously to gain profit. Plus, if more people engage in arbitrage, the prices of the equities will reach equilibrium at a faster pace. This site presents an interesting concept, and I would like to see more evidence of its effectiveness. Thank you! :)[/quote:af3399620a] just my 2c with the concept that is known as the market is efficient and whatever movement occurs today tomorrow ect... will come back to a level where its going to balance itself. so if u can't move or faster than the market or think beyond the current market u have no chance to succeed in the extremely competitive and efficient market.,.. chahine
I agree absolutely. Anticipating future outcome is difficult, but with the right research, analysis, and decision-making, you can definitely develop a system that will create more winning trades than losing ones. I'm just saying that it's rather difficult, and I wish I had a good system, but currently I just track a number of stocks and attempt to identify a trend or a pattern that will enable me to ride the ups and sell before the downs. However, we all encounter downs here and there, and if someone can show me a system that is flawless, I will truly be amazed. Good luck to us all! :D
Warren Buffetts value investing is flawless .. im using it ... its simple yet so powerfulll but requires tremendous amount of self discipline... chahine
Where'd you learn about Warren Buffet's "value investing"? And what are the basics?
the theory is simple that buy only a business that is worth investing in. the book that i would suggest reading to have a whole insight of the analysis is "The value investing by benjamin graham updated by Jason Zweig" and "the new buffettology" in my opinion 2 books that will give u a full insight of the strategy... I suggest reading the new buffetology first than the value investing for the second book is a lot more technical and u have to have a general idea of what the strategy is about to really understand the full extent of the power of value investing... and i believe that this strategy is flexible enough that it will give u a good insight on what u could modify to ur trading strategy in place.. i hope that helps. chahine
ya thanx...right now i am in the middle of "Buffet" but ill seriosuly look into those books...once again, thanx chahine...
one book i surely recomend for financial analysis is "the financial shenanigans" (im not sure if its spelled like that) but this book will show u and explain or the financial gimmicks that are used in the market to boost revenue and return and inventory and stuff that makes a bad company look good and good one look even greater like enron. in my opinion a must read... chahine
