UltimateLeaders

The IBD list is one I look at, but it has the same problem as all technical systems. You have to sell mechanically based on technicals only, when fundamentals continue to race forward. I always pay attention to the technicals, but to me the fundamentals are much more important.

Well so far in Q3-04, "Oil" is the word for "UltimateLeaders" with the likes of PETD, VLO and UPL. The Markets were all down today but these three were all up. VLO haas also announced a stock split. http://www.earnings-splits-ipo.com/stock_investing/UltimateLeaders/last_50.php

Energy should stay hot for awhile too. Control the energy and you are in a great business.

Looking at the earnings history and chart of PETD, it just might have the right stuff (Oil) to be a winner thorough the end of 2004. It looks to be basing and getting ready for a breakout. I think all it needs now is for the Markets to find a bottom from which it could make a run into its next earnings in Novemeber.
