What do you like best about them ToastMonger?
Well first off I've got an LG phone and I am more than satisfied. LG Phone already has the majority of Verizon phones and I forsee them moving into an even more dominant position. Also, they are linked with Verizon and that is a good thing as Verizon seems to me to be the most popular cell phone carrier. LG's major appliance division is already wildly successful. Most people don't know it, but LG actually makes 43% of the air conditioners that are in the U.S.(they are sold under the brand names of GE and Kenmore). LG is also a leader in TV's. They have produced the first 76" plasma tv as well as pioneering digital light processing. They are the world's largest producer of LCD displays, used in both TVs and computers. I believe that LG easily has the makings of a giant. Their biggest problem is becoming a household name. If they can make people remember who they are there is no stopping LG.
I just checked and LG is offered on both the Korean and the British markets.
I agree with you Toast, their cell phone is EXTREMELY popular. I would say that out of every 3 people I see with a cell, its an LG. ITs so popular because its color LCD and has a camera and is not too pricey. They also come out with updates, i know my cousin just got it and it has a bunch of new features. I didn't know about all the other products they made like air conditinors. That will do well its suppose to be the hottest summer yet!!! Well good luck investing in British or Korean markets.

I have never heard of them, but I guess that I'm not that trendy when it comes to cell phones. I have an emergency one that is barely used at all. That's just me. I know everyone else has cell phones because they use them everywhere they go :) Telecom is due for a shakeout in my opinion.. (American companies)
I just got the LG VX6000 phone last week, my friend works at Verizon and said it is one of the top quality phones. He also mentioned Motorola is now doing horribly in the quality department.
I have the LG vx6000 good phone droped it many times. And hottest summer lol this is the coldest summer for us since 1935. damn i hate western ny
