If their numbers are left unchecked they completely take over entire neighborhoods around here. They do have a few enemies though, a small number of hawks and me... This is the pellet airgun I use, I can hit them dead on at distances around 30-45 yards. I just took care of a mom and dad team that have a nest in the roof of the house across the street. War is hell, anyone want any pigeon orphans? [img:63ddec04d9]http://www.airgunexpress.com/NEWJPEGS/32-8454.jpg[/img:63ddec04d9]
hhahahah i superiorinvestors should take a ride there to become superior pigeon hunter. HAHAHAH chahine
I don't have anything against pigeons. They have never really interfered with my life enough to warrant deadly force. The one good thing about Ohio is we can carry concealed weapons now, if one of those winged rats really tried to mess with me, I could arm myself against them.
[b:137a8e0b41]Hathor[/b:137a8e0b41] I have one street on my work route that has 'em so bad the streets are literally covered in droppings. You can't even walk on your tip-toes without stepping in it, it's a health issue. We have a pig farm about a mile away and that attracts lots of them, they eat there and then look for swimming pools to drink from. Everything must have an enemy to thin the herd! In Nevada it is legal to kill coyotes 24/7/365 without any permits, they are considered a varmit and they also have no natural enemies...well they do have to avoid the very few mountain lions around here but they are so rare I have never even heard of anyone even seeing one in the mountains around Vegas. I ave seen alot of Coyotes running around though.
Thanks for explaining.. I didn't know that they were such a problem.. I guess I'd have to say reduce the population.. we have the same type of thing with Canadian Geese and Deer here in Ohio.. I don't think you can shoot either of these animals year round, only when in season. But I get what your saying now..
Pigeons are rats with wings.
[mumbles to self]...I still don't understand why I have never seen a baby pigeon....[/mumbles to self]
They have a second sense not to run into you is all.. They know that you're out to get them..
You know what the Hotel Al Arab Burj does with the pigeons? They've hired specially trained Falcons to combat them. It's not a pretty sight. For those who don't know, that is the maybe the nicest hotel in the World
Let the pigeons be! They mean you no harm!
damn nice hotel bobi well ill invite u all when im a millionaire :) chahine
It looks like a spectacular place to check out. I don't know if I'd want to travel there right now.. travel that way seems too risky to me.
