China and Value investing!

Unfortunately I don't have a ton of insight on that issue, but I'd say it would be fullish to ignore an economy as large as China's. Figuring the metrics is mostly the problem. Do you know how good the accounting standards are in China?

Besides i am not looking to invest in China at this time anyways given the run up since last may (i think H-Share index is up something like 200%). My concern is more with the long term impact on global economy and specific industry. China is now 25% of world steel demand/production. Can u imagine the impact any imbalance in Chinese domestic steel market might have on global steel market? Akaz
