i agree but emotion can push you to buy a stock at a higher price too... but offcourse if u have the proper research the stock will go up... chahine
One scenario I could see where impulse comes into play is a news-driven deal where a stock promises to go up or down based on news. If you can evaluate it quick and make a decision, your impulse could be worth a lot of money.
Impulsive buying can only reap you long term rewards if you're using the "force", but for the short run, buying on impulse instead of research is highly dangerous and could lead to a lesson learned instead of money earned. :D
