Personal Research Report.....Advice needed

i think thats a nice article and you constantly pull urself out of responsability and remind the reader about the risk. maybe introduce the company and its product earlier tho, started bugging me after a while

i think that delay is important though because if u r reading i want u to know the risk/benefit factor before i introduce the main chore information... what i mean is if i tell u company x has product y your subconcience will right there tell u bad company or good company and u will leave.... but if i show u the risk and benefit involved even though u will not be into the company u will end up reading till the end and make up ur mind at the end.... well that is my purpose but ill keep your comment so that next time i write i will try to give more info on the company earlier and not try to hold the suspense till the end. chahine

Nice article Chahine. Look like you did your homework on this one..Let us know how it goes.

It's an interesting pick. I agree that if the product hits with the public, it could be a big winner. That fact alone might keep the stock price going up in a rising market. This stock will be very dependent on news. Do you know how they are about making announcements, etc? They are in bad shape financially. They have a lot of debt and a high burn rate. How fast are their sales growing? Your reasoning is solid but the valuation is going to be tough. The $5+ price range is a decent point. How big is their market and how do they sell the thing?

This ended up 5.1% to end at $4.93 Nice drive up! How many shares do you have Chahine?

Good job buddy, I liked this article very much and am watching your pick, I may buy a little to see what happens!

Man I just can't afford to "lose it all"! That's too much risk! BRRRR. Sends shivers down my spine.

to tell u the truth i don't have the funds necessary to enter in risk investments like happyharry mentioned... i do believe that this stock has the potential of sky rocketing... i need stable and stocks showing consistent growth... sound financials where i don't have to rely on idea but concrete efficientcy... however if this stock dips below 4.5 i will definitely take the risk for it for a long run maybe but if u have some good money u can make quite a bit of short term money out of it.... even though i want ot buy it i would have to buy it very cheap and because of my lacks of funds i will need a minimum up movement of 40% to really make net profit becuase im factoring my buying and selling costs in it... which are fairly expensive... anyways i have to track my next pick which to me is also a very company that i think has a lot of long long long term potential... lets see its financials than will let u know.... if u are into speculation btw :P check out ALTI its a nanotech company... i will finish this report and paste it in here too.... bobi let me know if u put some cash in VLNC and let me know how it turns out.... i hope u will make some good $$$$ anyways back to work  chahine

The best thing that ever happened to you is learning to invest without much money. That gives you the best perspective you can have. You are learning that losing capital is a big NO NO!

i guess so but sometimes i see opportunities go by my eyes but can't do anything about it because i don't have the money to enter in those.... but i guess the other side would be that i learn to be patient and take the best opportunities.... chahine

Patience is a virtue. One you'll hear a lot is the fat pitch theory. In baseball hitters still fail around 75% of the time. If they only waited on fat pitches, they would hit for a much higher average. Investors can wait all day. They don't have to swing at all. But when they do swing at a fat pitch, the chance is very good that they will hit it.

i agree on that... i hope to hit the that fat pitch soon though.... chahine

Well what are your holdings now?

im just holding WHT right now thati see at new heights in more long term scope like 3 to 4 months. i have a gain of 46% since i bought it at 1.86 now worth 2.72.... will sell around 75% gain... which im confident will occur soon but how soon i don't know... chahine

Keep us posted on how things go for you.. How long are you willing to hold?

i think at least of another month... after that im going to play with a tighter stop loss strategy to push the %gain higher... but im confident that this stock will go towards a very stable 75% chahine

Time for the trailing stop loss to protect your gains.

i agree ... i have a 8% set up right now but as soon as the gains increase i will tighten it up to 5 and lower as WHT goes up... chahine

Good thinking and that's a nice trade! Good work.

im fairly happy that on my 3rd trade im making a nice 50% if not more in the coming weeks... chahine

Yep. 50% trades will get you going for sure!

Alright, I dropped $100 on VLNC this morning....let's see what happens!

bobi i hope my research will bring u some good profit :) Ill keep an eye on it in case i hear something that might cause it to go down but im fairly sure that it will go up... slowly but surely... chahine

You backed the research with some money. That will make tracking the stock more interesting.

bobi at how much did u enter VLNC?? just curious chahine

We knew he was from Vegas! Now we know he's a gambler :)

hahahah i agree but gambling + vegas + intuition can= a lot of $$$$$$ chahine

.. at least there is a better chance that a stock will go up for sure.. I hear rumors all the time about people that win rich, I've never been one of them, I stick to the stocks!.. Plus Vegas is a ways away.. :)

bobi u have hit the jackpot  it should start moving soon... chahine

Thinking of dropping a few hundred more $$ on it.

that now would be the time considering the decline in price.... just play safe though i don't like speculative plays even though best buy will not enter in business with company that has no potential... chahine

Beware of averaging down. Watch the stock for a few days and see how low it bounces.

[b:cf14d8b97e]Valence U-Charge/TM/ Power System to Be Evaluated by Graham-Field; Saphion/R/ Technology Tested as Power Source for Wheelchairs March 24, 2004 09:35:00 AM ET Valence Technology, Inc. VLNC, a leader in the development and commercialization of Saphion(R) technology, the only safe large format Lithium-ion rechargeable battery technology, today announced that the U-Charge(TM) Power System will be evaluated by Graham-Field Healthcare Products, a major manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products. The Saphion-based U-Charge(TM) Power System will be assessed for use in power wheelchair products. The power mobility market is one of the fastest growing markets in the medical equipment sector. The U-Charge Power System is a direct replacement for the sealed Lead Acid battery systems currently available in the power mobility market. The U-Charge Power System delivers greater energy density and better reliability at a lower cost of ownership than Lead Acid batteries. The inherent safety of Saphion Lithium-ion technology enables the creation of a large format product, such as the U-Charge system, and eliminates safety and environmental concerns associated with other technologies. "We expect Saphion technology will have a significant impact on the mobility market for healthcare, which utilizes sealed Lead Acid batteries in a wide variety of applications," stated Stephan Godevais, chairman and CEO of Valence. "We believe the U-Charge Power System will enable Graham-Field to provide its wheelchair customers with power to be completely mobile for an entire day and in the end, facilitate a better quality of life." "We have been waiting a long time for a Lithium-ion technology that was safe enough to be manufactured in unique dimensions for our industry," Joe Ticer, Director of Mobility and Rehab of Graham-Field. "Saphion technology and the U-Charge product have the potential to be a true breakthrough for the mobility market and could impact all aspects of design and function for powered wheelchairs."
