i live in france and my library has NOTHING about stocks, etc. its not a french thing to write much about that, and according to my dad the other night, the french are stupid when it comes to the stock market, and any french book about the stock market that I would buy would refer to the French stock market. I'm planning on ordering a couple of books tonite off of amazon.co.uk...
I was at Barnes and Nobles looking at some stock books and The Stock Market for Dummies looked really good to sort of understand the stock market 100% and then give you advice. Check it out!

Hell, I'm gonna get three! 1. [u:f7340d3836]A Beginner's Guide to Day Trading Online[/u:f7340d3836], by Toni Turner 2. [u:f7340d3836]The Stock Market for Dummies[/u:f7340d3836] 3. [u:f7340d3836]The Intelligent Investor[/u:f7340d3836] and maybe a fourth being: 4. [u:f7340d3836]Trading on Expectations : Strategies to Pinpoint Trading Ranges, Trends, and Reversals[/u:f7340d3836] Thought the fourth one may be too complicated for me... I'm not sure, but maybe I'll be able to tackle it after the first three, and i'll get that fourth one when I go to Florida in April!
Sorry I feel like I'm spamming but some of the other books werent available on amazon.co.uk 1.The Intelligent Investor 2.Getting Started in Technical Analysis 3.A Beginner's Guide to Day Trading Online 4.A Beginner's Guide to Short-Term Trading: How to Maximize Your Profits in 3 Days to 3 Weeks What do you gusy think of these picks? I'm thinking maybe to not get the 4th one as its also a Toni Turner and it may be the 3rd one just more focused on short term with the same ideas and theories and strategies, etc.
You wont be dissatisfiend with The stock market for Dummies
it wasnt available on amazon.co.uk but i'll take a second look anyhow
Aha I found it: Stock Investing for Dummies (For Dummies) It was a different title so I had to search by category to find it. Anyhow, so now the list is this: 1.The Intelligent Investor 2.Getting Started in Technical Analysis 3.A Beginner's Guide to Day Trading Online 4.Stock Investing for Dummies (For Dummies) and I guess I'll work off of that... I sure wish I had an English/American library it would probably save me some money, but whatever, my parents will pay for these as its pretty much for educational purpose... muhahahahaha
