Restaurant Stocks?

hmmm interesting question.... well i would say it depends if the restaurants are mainly beef concentrated it might effect them to get beef of better quality directly reflected inthere profit margin or price to the consumer. however if they are not directly or mainly beef related then they would be able to diversify to maintain the same profit margin and customer satisfaction. IMHO chahine

I don't see any long term problems. People in this country forget about big news after about a month. To most people on the street Sept. 11th is forgotten. People in this country like burgers and steak. I haven't thought once about the whole mad cow thing when I'm at Burger King, I wish people would shy away from the fast food places, it would make the drive thru line shorter. :wink:

I tend to agree with the short attention span syndrome. But lawyers have memories. And if they can start assigning blame in the beef industry the numbers might get affectted. We have to see how involved the lawyers get.
