Interesting question. They went bankrupt with over $8 billion in debt so they definitely have not been a profitable venture. I notice a few companies are trying to buy up their assets before they emerge from bankruptcy. Airlines are one of the absolute worst businesses to invest in for the most part because of the huge liability and payroll expenses.


true does make sense but i do feel that air canada being a national airline will not be aloud to go bankrupt but might helped by the government if necessary to pull back....but the question is how long will it take chahine


It's worth keeping an eye on this one. If Canada bails them out it would be worth some money.


definietely agree with u on that. personally i think that AIR CANADA may recover in a period of 1 year or less depending on the main aspect which is the behavior of touristique business.... chahine


Depending on how sure you are of that, you may want to place a bet on their future.
